Ossessionata dagli indici di ascolto e dalla competizione con gli altri network sul terreno dei reality show, la
dirigente televisiva Katy Courbet concepisce il reality più estremo mai pensato prima: il gioco della roulette
russa in prima serata. Katy Courbet dovrà però lottare con determinazione per difendere il suo format,
dovrà forzare le leggi e le interpretazioni della Costituzione, convincere gli inserzionisti pubblicitari e
vincere le resistenze dei dirigenti del network, prima di riuscire a mandare il suo show in onda.

Finalmente nello studio di Live! si accendono le telecamere: tra centinaia di candidati che si sono presentati ai
casting, sono stati selezionati sei concorrenti che per denaro, per fama o semplicemente per provare delle sensazioni
forti sono disposti a rischiare la vita.

Per cinque di loro ci sarà la ricchezza, per uno invece la morte in diretta TV.
